Tip ~ Get dressed - every day!

Don't let yourself go just because you're not getting out as much as you used to. Get dressed -- every single day -- in something nice - shoes and jewelry, and even make-up if you wear it. Not only does it give you a psychological boost, but being dressed makes it harder to just crawl back into bed. It's too easy to lapse into slobbery when you're not feeling well. And slopping around leads to a loss of self-respect and of self-esteem.

Hi Kimberly, First let me thank you for visiting my blog, A Proverbs 31 Woman Wannabe. Second let me say, I agree that this is a huge step, and a great way to keep going every day. Depression will do this to you too. If you don't make yourself get up, get dressed, etc. You fall into the temptation of staying in bed. There's a commercial for some kind of anti-depressant out there, (I think it might be Cymbalta) that says depression hurts. And it does. Not like fibromyalgia to be sure, but it does still hurt. Emotionally and physically. I'll be praying for you sister, and for your loved ones. Blessings to you.

I agree with you and my wife 100%. I try to get dressed every day also. You would not believe the looks I get at work when I don't.

Thanks for stopping by my blog and please come back.

God bless!!

Question for you Kimberly. What would you walk on to get to that gingerbread house?

I don't care who you are, that right there is funny.

God bless!
